[ciapug] August Meeting

I'd like to attend both meetings, but I've been a member of the Iowa .NET
User Group for at least two years now and don't have any plans of dropping
out.

Since you are moving the meeting time to an earlier time, I'd be missing a
lot of meetings anyway, so I guess it's no big deal.

I really enjoy PHP and I often find myself porting some code I wrote in PHP
to C# or some code I wrote in C# to PHP.  The thing I like about C# is that
it runs on both Windows and Linux and I can compile it.  I'm currently
building a C# data layer for Linux that uses PostgreSQL and a C# data layer
for Windows that uses MSDE.  Once the data layer is in place, the code for
the web pages is identical on both Windows and Linux.  It's kind of like
PEAR, except I'm writing it myself.
