[Darcy Baston]

Hi! I'm Darcy. I've been in Des Moines for a little more than half a 
year with my wife Andrea, who's lived here most of her life. I'm from 
northern Ontario Canada.

I'm a PHP nut. I love it love it love it and have been using it 
extensively along with MySQL for about 3 years at my info/support 
community domain paxilprogress (http://www.paxilprogress.org). PHP and 
MySQL have allowed me to automate information management and dynamic 
content that I used to spend 18+ hour days updating manually. They're 
my God sent technologies! They perform like champs and easily churn out 
content and services to the 25k uniques/month and 1.5 million 
hits/month paxilprogress receives.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to making some friends and getting into 
great discussions on all things PHP'ish. :)

I heard of this group from Bryan Baker, from the Des Moines Mac Users 
Group. They meet on the last Tuesday of each month, and Haddock 
Computers is the current gathering location. I'll be at next week's 
meeting should any of you drop by!
