Steve,
I wasn't trying to open a debate about windows especially when I already
agree that linux is better than windows! In fact I stated I did NOT want us
to hash it out further on this list. It's counterproductive to what the
point of this list is, which is help with PHP. When someone expresses that
you have offended them, you do not take the oppurtunity to bash them further
on a public list. I think you took the first line of my email much more
seriously than I intended. And for that I apologize, I should have put a
smily face or something to convey my total humor at the moment.
I wasn't attacking anyone specifically, but just trying to express my
concern in general at seeing linux users repeatedly bash, downtalk, offend,
make fun of, and generally be really pissy towards windows users. I hear it
enough from every angle in the the work world, I just don't need us to hash
it out here in a forum and from a group of people that I am looking toward
for SUPPORT, not attacks.
I would really appreciate it if this would be the last email from this
thread. I have no desire to argue with anyone, my life is too short to focus
on an operating system debate.
Let's just....all get along everyone :)
