I just can't think of any good reason to ever run Apache on Windows,
instead of just running it on Unix.

PHP supports the IIS module interface. We don't use it here, though --
customers who want PHP go on the Unix server, customers who want ASP or
FrontPage go on the Windows server. Supporting all options on all
platforms is a waste of resources, IMHO.
