Jordan Cook will be presenting:
setting up a travel router with OpenWRT. We’ve had other OpenWRT-related talks in the past, so which aspects would folks be most interested in hearing about? Options include:
* Travel-specific features: dealing with hotel wifi + captive portals, suitable hardware options
* Multi-WAN failover (switching between ethernet, wifi, and Android USB tether), using the super useful but also super cursed mwan3 package
* Building your own image from scratch(-ish) using OpenWRT’s imagebuilder tool, with the goal of having all drivers, software, and (most) config baked into the firmware image prior to flashing (beyond what you can do with the online builder tool at firmware-selector.openwrt.org)
