Just a bit of cross posting, I will be presenting at ST Louis Lug
tonight, and a reminder that next week is our regular CIALUG meeting.

MAIN: "Building and maintaining a container” by Andrew Denner of CIAlug.

In this month's presentation Andrew Denner from Central Iowa Linux Users group will cover how to design,
use, and update OCI Containers (aka docker containers) for custom local usage. He will start from the
beginning answering questions like "what is a container", "why should your processes should be cattle
instead of pets" (even with one machine), how can you use containers to simplify updates, and separate concerns.
Also we will explore alternative tools to docker like podman and buildah.

Andrew Denner is a Senior Scientific Software Developer and President of the Central Iowa Linux Users group.

Lee's tutorial on The Onion Router (TOR) is at 6:30. Main talk would probably start ~7:15.

There has been an active discussion between Robert Citek & Andrew about “podman” under the subject line
"DockerCon 2022 and Building and maintaining a [Docker] container” in the DISCUSS list.

The above line is all most people need. The other itms here are useful for more complex connections.
