[Cialug] OT: Membership vs. Dues vs List; was Re: Users needed

Yeah, at the time I left Iowa the LUG had a few hundred bucks worth of
dues in an account and they were trying to come up with a way to blow
the money.  Not sure if you folks ever managed to spend it or not.  I
think a party might have been in the works, or something. In any case,
the LUG has always been accidentally frugal, given that the meeting
locations are provided and any time food is available it was provided by
the business that hosted the meeting (I loved the pizza/drinks Right
Stuf provided).  Generally food was only provided when a local
restaurant wasn't close-by, anyway.  So yeah, dues-paying is/was kinda
pointless...

I guess someone would have to put some charter changes up to a vote for
the last set of dues-paying members to vote on, or maybe give some
people the option of paying dues to contribute to the vote to change
it.  You might want to bring it up at the next meeting (or the one after
if you have to give a certain number of days notice?).
