[Cialug] Samba 4.9.5 name resolution failure

I've seen it before, but it happened last night at one of our client's.
For the past 10 years, Samba/NMB would resolve network names properly
(i.e. a share could use \\<servername>\<sharname> instead of the IP
address).

After the update, all share mappings using \\<servername> are broken,
*BUT* \\<ip address> goes straight to the server.

Any pointers to a solution?
