On a related note; does anyone happen to know if there is a way to set up a
"dead mans switch" with BitWarden?

LastPass has this feature where you can designate an email to receive a one
time login code if you have not logged into your main vault in a specified
amount of time (say a month). I had a friend pass recently that used
LastPass and i don't think he had that set up. It got me thinking that it
would be a good idea to set something like that up.

Since it is open source i might be able to hack on it, but i don't know
anything about how you would go about generating a "one-time" pass code.

Any thoughts?
