[Cialug] HISTIGNORE Question

HISTIGNORE=mypassword is probably a warning sign.  But seriously, isn't
HISTCONTROL=ignorespace a pretty common setting in distros as a default?
Then any line starting with a space becomes 'private' and isn't logged to
history.
