[Cialug] dd only allocated space?

Just dd sda1,2,3,4,5 and it won’t get the extra space. If it is all zeroes you could use cp and add –sparse=always to not copy the zeroed space

Having an issue copying a chip, .. I need an image to get the MBR, but
there is unallocated space behind the filesystem that should not get
copied.

Anyone have a good method?
