I've seen it used before where there were no more port in the patch panel and no more wall mounts. Run the wall mount to a remote switch and 4 more users can connect. Don't know if it's the best idea, those 4 users had more network lag than anyone else did.

I'm curious as to where you used this switch. While I was reading the
thread all the examples I could come up with were fairly contrived.
