[Cialug] How normal is it to ask for w2s and pay stubs as part of the interview process?

They should pay you what you're worth based on your experience and market
rates, not how little they think they can pay you based on whatever you're
currently doing - which may not be relevant if the job is significantly
different... i.e. what if someone took a hiatus and went to work at a
non-profit?

I'd let them know how you feel about it, if they don't agree then maybe it
wasn't the right job for you.
