[Cialug] Samba Challenge

Build a SuSE 13.2 box for file/print sharing, .. installed Samba, ..
created (and tweaked a dozen times) a basic configuration, .. but it DNW.

Symptoms are:

 * Damons are running (smb/nmb)
 * Logs are created for deaemon startup
 * Ports are open (firewall is off for testing)
 * Telnet to 445 & 139 produces a response from the deamon
 * smbtree, smbclient, or browsing from another workstation fails
 * Nothing in the logs after a failure
