[Cialug] Most reliable backup solution

I use a hybrid approach here:

Proxmox <http://www.proxmox.com/> on bare metal to manage the vms (really
nice btw).
Crashplan <http://crashplan.com> for file level onsite and offsite live
backups.
Image For Windows/Linux <http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/> for bare metal
monthly backups.
Freenas <http://www.freenas.org/> on bare metal using 8x2tb sata wd red
drives (expandable to 16) in a raidz3 ZFS pool.

All are either free or inexpensive and very solid products.

Using this system I can pull a file back from errant changes/deletions with
crashplan, and in worse case pull back the most recent full image and just
restore changed files since that image was taken.

Bare metal back to happy server takes around 15-20 minutes in my tests.

BTW, thanks for the proxmox suggestion Ken!
