[Cialug] What happened to python user's group?

They're still around, still meeting every second Thursday.  A couple of
days earlier and you'd have been in time for this month's meeting.

Signing up for the group mailing list <pyowa at googlegroups.com> is
generally a good way to keep in contact with the members.
