Lee,
I have been known to do such things and it depends on the number of 
lines of code.
I did the conversion of the original Paradise (VGA) code from reverse 
Polish Forth to Intel ASM-X86 and IBM X86 BIOS to RISC as well as X86 
assembly to C. IBM PS2 OS in X86 and C. I really enjoy doing things that 
are complex and this sounds like a real winner.
