Netcraft used to keep uptime stats. Here is the archive page from 2001 
showing top uptime.

The list is dominated by FreeBSD and IRIX.

Then in 2012 things look much different with a bunch of Windows Servers 
at the top of the list

I seem to remember there were some NetBSD boxes in the basement of 
Durham Center on ISU campus that had some crazy long uptime.
