That zhone is generally very stable. We've got hundreds of them in the field. Your old Cisco won't support pppoe.

I checked my modem over lunch. It is a Zhone 6212-I4-200.

I also searched for my old Cisco 678, but i think i recycled it the
last time i cleaned out unused electronics.
