Linksys isn't gone - it's being purchased by Belkin, and there are several
Belkin devices already in the DD-WRT database.

Not sure what your reasoning is here. *-WRT runs on a much more than just
Linksys devices. I've been running DD-WRT for quite a while on an Asus
router at home.

I've set up several Linksys or Asus routers with DD-WRT for friends to use
as WiFi bridges or routers. Have never heard of problems with any of them.
