I've been furiously preaching this for five years, so I'm glad you all came to the conclusion independently last night. Now could you help out in the tech sector putting down the Snowden-noia? Perhaps somebody pull Richard Stallman, Cory Doctorow, or Glyn Moody back off the window ledge?

Yes, it was a lot of fun.  My takeaway was that for some value of
"privacy", things are already beyond where it makes much sense to encrypt
everything.  I think it might make more sense to start generating "outlier"
traffic to make all this signal gathering much noisier, and less
statistically meaningful.
