Ummm once upon a time, I worked for an outfit that sold some switches from the Boca company that did just that...that is catch on fire. You may joke...I've seen it happen.

You are upset or surprised that a $150 POS Linksys switch doesn't have LACP?? For that price I'd be happy if it doesn't start on fire.

Most of the HP switches offer LACP as well as Adtran.

Cisco 2960 series also support LACP very well.

Installed a 24 port 10/100/1000 Cisco 100 switch at a site recently, and would like to provide LACP to bond two ports to the server.

Unfortanatly, any in the 200 seriees and up [short of Catalyst for $10K] has 10/100 ports and only two 10/100/1000!

Never tries to bond GigE ports before, and I was really surprised that there wasn't any hardware available! Is anyone aware of any hardware options?
