[Cialug] iSCSI, anyone?

Trying to setup an iSCSI client on OpenSuSE 12.1, .. unfortunately the
'simple' Yast install is nonfunctional.

Have seen two problems:

1) There is a version mismatch between the module vesions, but a symlink
fixed that (at least initially);

2) More critical, the package installationof open-iscsi appearently does
not install the kernel module:

Oct 18 20:06:28 xs-storage00 iscsid: iSCSI logger with pid=11053 started!
Oct 18 20:06:28 xs-storage00 iscsid: Missing or Invalid version from
/sys/module/scsi_transport_iscsi/version. Make sure a up to date
scsi_transport_iscsi module is loaded and a up todate version of iscsid is
running. Exiting...

Don't suppose anyone has run into this problem? There seems to be no
separate package for scsi_trasport_iscsi, and all of the notes I have seen
online refer to previous versions with a source install.
