[Cialug] Google JS Weirdness

I started using Google Calendar for my Android phone about 18 months 
ago and this problem started, as I have to now allow Google JS to 
run, whereas I have never allowed it before.

What happens is this:

1) With Google JS (with or without gstatic), entering a search term 
into the bar works fine;
2) When selecting next page, or changing ON the return page, the page 
dims and is 'dead'!
3) The only way to get to a 2nd page is to turn OFF all Google JS! (I 
found this out by accident a short time ago!)

Don't suppose anyone has run across this problem before and possibly solved it?
