Yep, .. tried a number of variations:

	smtp.gmail.com
	[smtp.gmail.com]
	smtp.googlemail.com
	[smtp.googlemail.com]

All resolve via hosts, .. though they are CNAME's.

Here is the actual log entry:

Jul 26 13:14:42 Mainserver postfix/smtp[20417]: 6374F81C66:
to=<lvl at omnitec.net>, relay=none, delay=6191, delays=6191/0.03/0/0,
dsn=4.4.3, status=deferred (Host or domain name not found. Name service
