I've put some photos we want to keep on some and taken them to the safe deposit box at the bank.

Subject: [Cialug] Good uses for smaller disks?

I found in my supply good IDE 80G, 120G and 200G drives. I have three servers (one is being decommissioned though, so two servers) that have IDE capability. They run VMs, for example, a Git server, Minecraft, Windows VMs for web testing, etc.

What would you do? My choices are:
1. Throw them away
2. Use them for application specific storage
3. Add them to the overall storage pool in some way

matt$ ssh arthur df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda1 67G 37G 27G 58% /

matt$ ssh ford df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda1 73G 23G 47G 33% /

matt$ ssh trillian df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda1 458G 70G 365G 17% /
