Don't neglect kids - I don't think I've seen a 6-10 year old boy forced to watch an older sibling's sporting events that wasn't using some kind of Nintendo thing. Some are using parent's phones but many have a ds or equivalent.

I think it will do well with the serious gamer crowd, as long as they allow keyboard + mouse. I have a PS3, but don't use it for any FPS type games because I dislike using a game controller for them, and most games don't allow keyboard + mouse control, even though the PS3 is capable of using them.

The casual game market is being taken over by tablets & smart phones. I can't see that the new WiiU will do well at all.

Will be interesting to see if the Ouya android game console gets any traction.
