Just a few thoughts on the new release:
I had to update my Nvidia drivers to prevent "white outs" or white screens of death.

My Linux lexmark printers don't work do to problems with usb and cups 1.4 as they don't like each other. I've downloaded Lexmark's drivers for Debian/Ubuntu which worked well in the past, but with no luck.

I'm just getting to learn how to use to the new interface.  I preferred the old drop down menus. The interminable links to an app is less than felicitous. Also one of my favorite applets "kill" is no more. This applet lets me kill a program with just an arrow key. I was most useful.

Like anything new, I will have to get used to the new interface.
Ralph
