For 50 users or less Google Apps is free.

Even though it's a simple web UI I think there is definitely financial
opportunity for businesses that could use someone to help them set it up
right. The beauty is that you get a nice shared address book, teams/groups
support, a slick web UI and you can use any client you like, including
Mobile. (iPhone mail client is very happy with the IMAP interface and the
Android client works very nice, as you'd expect)

There are other features too such as shared calendar, voice/video/text chat,
documents and the ability to create web sites using their simple CMS tool.

I strongly suggest that for each user they go through and then create a
Google Account with their new e-mail address. Just because you have an Apps
account for your company doesn't mean that you have a Google Account. (This
is, imho, Google's biggest usability blunder)
