Subject: [Cialug] Freeing disk space

Got a remote machine that is out of disk space, .. deleted everything I
could, but still a half gig short. Started removing unneeded things like
audio and accidentally got Firefox caught in the mix.

Reinstalled Firefox, but the only access we have is via VNC, and the
screen is black.

I have never tried to restart X from the command line - there are no
startx/stopx commands on the system - how would this be accomplished?
