Thank you Headlee.
Interesting list. That helps answer my original question of 'what' not 'how'.
I was beginning to think others do not know how to read.

A while back I ran into the article above outlining the best 53 tech blogs. I took the blogs from this article, shoved them into google reader so I could start consuming them. Obviously there is way to much content to really read these every day so what I did was plug the google reader feeds into "FlipBook" on the iPad. This allows me to scan all the articles like a news paper and dig into the dozen or so I find interesting every morning.

This blogs in the article above are varied enough that I get a really good smattering of tech information. I have really enjoyed this setup and maybe you will find it useful too. I made the google feeds public so you can just grab them from below.

Happy Reading
Headlee

Really? You guys are still doing daily readings? Of actual web sites?

Here are four Google Reader "bundles", from which you can generate OPML files to import into your own RSS readers:

Sysadmin Stuff: http://www.google.com/reader/bundle/user%2F05465999583289484584%2Fbundle%2Fsysadmin

IT News: http://www.google.com/reader/public/subscriptions/user%2F05465999583289484584%2Fbundle%2Fit-news

Security News: http://www.google.com/reader/bundle/user%2F05465999583289484584%2Fbundle%2Fsecurity

Security Attacks: http://www.google.com/reader/bundle/user%2F05465999583289484584%2Fbundle%2FSecurity%20Attack

I found that when I moved from daily reading to RSS, my data throughput went up by about 20x.

Thought it might be interesting to share reading lists.

What sites do others check on a daily basis to get their tech fix?

/. is a given.
