[Cialug] Volunteerism and stepping up a career

All I did was make a correlation to the subject matter of the article
and the state of Iowa. There are plenty of museums and other public
places that are struggling in this economy that sure wouldn't mind
some sort of volunteer-ism.

A couple of places that spring to mind are The Grout Museum in
Waterloo ( http://www.groutmuseumdistrict.org/ ) and The Putnam Museum
( http://www.putnam.org/ ) in Davenport, as they often have projects
and exhibits that require a little extra help. It's a great way to
network with other like-minded people, and great places to take the
kid(s) on the weekend.
