[Cialug] Hello and can I get some recommendations

Welcome to the group Aaron.

Like you I'm newer to linux myself. I have found the following book to be
very helpful.

Linux Phrasebook, Essential code and commands by Scott Granneman. Published
by Addison Wesley.
