I am having a good experience right now, employed by Volt Information
Services and placed at a software development shop in Urbandale.  I don't
know if Volt has an office here.  I was hired through the Davenport office,
and it was all done over the telephone.  From 1996 through 2001, I was
employed in the Quad Cities by a contracting firm, now it is a branch of
Aquent, but then it was Renaissance Worldwide, before that, The Registry,
and it started as a local shop, Shamrock Computer Resources.  Back in the
day, when Shamrock was still locally owned, it was an awesome place to work.
