[Cialug] mediacom's dns servers????

I've heard from one other person today having a similar problem last night.

Does anyone know if mediacom is having periodic, but frequent, dns 
problems?  Or does their DNS server have it's "pants on the ground".  At 
1913 cst it could not find google or mail.mediacombb.net   Arrrrrrrrrgh!
