You should be able to use the ip address of the printer. If you already have it might be an issue with the queue name on the printer... I'm guessing.

Hmm. My "Printer Test Page" tells me that the share name is "LexmarkC",
but how can I correctly identify the print server?

I'm trying to do

    net use lpt1 \\<printserver>\LexmarkC /persistent:yes

and getting a response

    System error 66 has occurred.
The network resource type is not correct.

for every value of <printserver> I've tried.
