[Cialug] Any Gedit users?

I've been playing with gedit, .. bu it seems totally braindead wrt key
remapping.

Gnome Terminal has a nice 'keybinding' editor right on the main menu, but
zip, zilch, nada for gedit.

Is anyone using gedit? If so, how do they get the keys mapped to a useful
state? Line <ct>Tab to switch edit tabs (I use <ctl>< * > for Terminal -
works great), .. <alt>Backspace instead of <ctl>z, stuff like that.
