[Cialug] general questions on ubiquiti

www.ubnt.com , or Ubiquiti announced it is going to ship its 
nanostation2 and nanostation5 products this month.  They have a range of 
10 to 15 kilometers.  The nanostation2 appears to be priced at $79.

Does this change the discussion for community broadband infrastructure 
in rural Iowa?  I'm wondering if it is feasible to put one of these on 
the water tower, and that enables everyone in line of sight to reach 
everyone else in two hops.  If so, integrating one or two nanostation2 
units with Meraki units completes a broadband infrastructure without 
Internet connection, right?  Or wrong?
