[Cialug] Screen cast formats?

I was concerned about whether the recording would harm the meetings.
With both people and quarks, observing behavior can alter behavior.
However, when I've mentioned it in the past, no one has come forward and
said that they didn't want the meetings recorded. If anyone has
concerns, feel free to voice them here. If this is a divisive issue,
it's probably not worth pursuing, as I doubt that anyone would avoid the
meetings because they're NOT being recorded.

So far as whether the meetings would be the same, I would anticipate
that the recording would make the initial meetings a bit more formal.
However, given the types of people that we are, I expect that were
things to drift off topic and get heated (like last night), those of us
doing the discussion would tend to forget about the cameras and just
keep going.

That's an interesting concept... I think it's much more likely that
selective linux nerds would download or watch the videos on a youtube
like service than watch on local access tv.

The other issue is taping the presentations, and having LUG meetings
structured enough to allow for the taping. And that if they were being

taped, would they be the same type of meetings?
