[Cialug] beginner here...

Don't be afraid to ask questions... we were all newbies once (and some 
of still are).

Set up a test system and just tear into it, and don't be afraid to mess 
it up and have to re-install it. Especially now that installing 
distributions like Ubuntu is so easy.
