[Cialug] aptitude fails to remove a package

Any advice to remove a package when aptitude fails?  Here's the output:

Removing icedtea-java7-bin ...

How do I find the pre-removal script if I want to modify it so that it
runs successfully?  Or just tell aptitude to ignore the error?
