The devices do have USB ports, but they are disabled.  I experimented a
while back when I worked for Mediacom and the ports seem to have no
functional purpose at this time (at least, nothing that Motorola is
advertising).

The firewire ports, however, are active and you can pull a stream from
them.  Of course, I've only heard of this working on a Mac, but I'm sure
there is a Linux project out there somewhere working on it.  Apparently
Windows doesn't have the necessary capability in the kernel.
