[Cialug] Asterisk Bridged Fax Calls

The Comdial hardware is an FX-II PBX. The machine is lightly loaded and nothing is sharing interrupts. Also, the machine has pretty high end hardware for what Asterisk NEEDS (Athlon X2 5000+, 1GB RAM, RAID).

I've been giving it some more thought. The problem is going to happen on
several layers.

You have the fax machines that expect to be talking directly to each other
expecting exact times, and you may have T1 timing issues as well. You may
also have zaptel timing issues if the machine cannot keep up or has crappy
interrupts

Asterisk should be salve to the telco and master for the other span. Is a
comdial a channel bank or something else?
