As cool as it sounds, can you imagine typing commands with a keypad? I don't
know if T9 would help much here.

On an quasi-related note, someone told me there's a T9 input format for GTK.
:-) Time to finally get rid of the keyboard. Just embed a number pad into
the top of your mouse and you can compute with one hand.
