True, but the last time I spoke with Google, they required all employees
to start in Mountain View for training.  I think the training period was
three months.

If the model they are using for Council Bluffs matches what they were
talking about earlier, they would first move you to MV for three months,
*then* move you to CB.

Of course, the only way to know would be to ask them yourself.  Gee, if
only there would be a Google rep at the December meeting. . .

Rumor has it that they're sending us some swag as well.

I think the bit about living/working in Mountain View is just
boilerplate. Google actually has sysadmin job openings in Council
Bluffs.
