[Cialug] OT: Laptop repair - power jack

You might want to search eBay for the laptop model.  I seem to recall
finding there was some part in Compaq laptops that made it look like the
power connector was bad.  There are places on eBay that sell this piece.
Sorry I can't be more descriptive, I did a search for what I thought it was,
but I couldn't find it.  But, it is my understanding that this part is much
easier to replace than the power connector.
