Also, I think she rates equipment in BTUs - most of it is non-x86 and it confuses the hell out of her the way it is. :-D

Jon... what I did was told the wife that I wouldn't make any comments
about her shoe collection if she  didn't say anything about my
tools/toys.  

That  "deal" has served me well, even though I occasionally trip over a
pair of her shoes...
