[Cialug] USB and Suspend on a Laptop

I ran into this a few years ago.
The problem there was that when the system failed to load the hotplug
system. Try to manually restart the hot/cold plug systems. If that
works, add a stop to the pre-suspend script for the plugs, and add a
start to the resume scripts. Then try again.

Subj: [Cialug] USB and Suspend on a Laptop
I'm having problems with USB after a suspend on my laptop: the USB
device
isn't even listed in 'lsusb'. Some web sites suggest that several USB
drivers have problems with suspend, but this happens even if the device
is
not plugged in before the suspend event. Is this a known problem? DO any
of
you have similar problems?

Thanks,

Chris
