[Cialug] I'm still having problems with my Ubuntu.

Yes, thanks. I 've reinstalled 5.10 from my CD drive and in the process of 
updating the to 6.10. It's a painfull process. I'm still trying to 
understand why I was hosed in the first place. It had to due with my 
updating releases with apt-get and somehow the system got out of sync and I 
couldn't access graphics -xwindow . It would just hang when i brought upt 
the system. But that is water under the bridge.
