Boot Camp is used to re-partition the hard drive as if you were going
to install Windows, but you skip the creation of a drivers disk and
cancel the install after the partition is created. You then install
Ubuntu on the new partition, but Grub fails due to the EFI "BIOS" so
you have to install LILO. Once LILO is installed, you then reboot
back to OS X and install (in my case, re-install) rEFIt, an EFI boot
utility that allows you to choose which partition you'd like to boot.

If I have time between now and the next meeting, perhaps I can give a
brief talk on the process and any other tweaks I've done.
